General Information
Dear Friends, dear Guests, dear Sponsors, It is with an enormous pleasure that we write you this letter to close the 35th World Small Animal Congress. We have been very pleased to receive you in our wonderful town of Geneva, Switzerland. We are glad such a great many people could come, from all around the world, as we counted 75 nationalities. Thanks to your contribution, this event was a tremendous success. We feel happy you enjoyed your stay among us: the scientific program, the Swiss-timing and the social events. This congress took place during a very critical financial period, and for a long time, we were afraid we would not be able to carry it through. We were obliged to reduce all the expenses and we finally succeeded to a balanced profit with the valuable support of all the sponsors, mainly Hill’s, Novartis, Nestlé and Pfizer. I would like to thank all the people who gave me their help and support throughout theses four years of organization and I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm thank you to you all, members of the board, for the confidence you placed in me and which has been so important for me.
